Chapter 9 End-test

Each chapter end-test includes a traditional dictation test of ten words. For the most part the words are drawn from the chapter or are analogous to words in the chapter. Each test also includes some analysis of the words that is pertinent to the work of the chapter or previous chapters. Students complete the dictation test and then go on to the analysis. If the analysis causes them to change their minds about a spelling, they are encouraged to go back and change it.

The first form below is the student's copy; the second form is the teacher's copy.
